Shake & Bake is really a Kraft coating mix for meat and poultry, applied by shaking in a bag; introduced in 1965 as a quick and clean way to prepare meat. The quote spoken by a child pleased at being able to help Mom cook in the commercials was "... and I helped!"
But, many of us are truly more familiar with the catch phrase from our good 'ole pal Ricky Bobby.

Jean Girard: Is that a catchphrase or epilepsy?
We're still not sure which one it's supposed to be, but either way, it's got a totally different meaning now, used as a salutatory phrase which is oftentimes accompanied by a fist bump.
